Reaching Beyond
Innovation and state-of-the-art technology are fundamental to sciences such as nanotechnology, materials engineering and space sciences, which are all gathered under the theme Reaching Beyond in the UK-Brazil Year of Science & Innovation.
The first achievement was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Brazilian National Institute of Space Research (INPE) and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), in partnership with the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), in April 17th, stimulating scientific co-operation in the space science and technology area.
